After the first phase of "Ternary precursor project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes" has been successfully put into production, the second phase of "Nickel metal with an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes" has also been successfully completed and put into production. The R&D Centre of JIANA cathode ternary precursor materials is built on the basis of the first and second phase projects, with an area of about 9,000 square meters and an investment of more than RMB 80 million, including precursor R&D, wetsmelting R&D, R&D and testing equipment, and so on. It has several precursor R&D lines of different scales, which can fulfil the needs of customers for the development of kilogram-, hundred-kilogram- and tonne-scale samples, and has the ability to develop ternary, quaternary, natrium electrolyte (NEM/NCEM, etc.), concentration gradient, and nucleus-shell precursor technologies, and can develop multiple samples at the same time, so that it can respond to the development needs of customers quickly. The R&D of wetsmelt covers atmospheric pressure leaching, high-pressure leaching and extraction system, which can meet the experimental conditions and production technological innovation requirements for all kinds of nickel-cobalt-manganese raw materials - battery-grade nickel-cobalt-manganese sulphate.
