In early 2021, Jana Energy added capital to MMT Co., LTD through MJM Company. MMT Company is located in the northern suburb of Koluvezi City, capital of Lualaba Province, DRC, covering an area of 150 hectares, about 6 kilometers away from the urban area. Koluvezi City, where the factory is located, is an important copper and cobalt mining and refining center. Distribution of a number of large mining, mineral processing and copper, cobalt, zinc smelting enterprises, the factory and the city of Coluvezi through mud gravel road connected. The project has been registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Guangdong Development and Reform Commission respectively in August 2021, with a total investment of 92,576,600 US dollars (about 600 million yuan).
Upon completion of the project, MMT will have an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of cathode copper and 3,000 tons of cobalt intermediate products.。
